About
Hi! I'm Jake Tirsch, a high school senior at De Toledo High School in West Hills, California. I'm passionate about engineering and have been involved with FIRST Robotics Competition since 2019. As the Mechanical Team Captain and Code Team Co-Captain for FRC Team 7415, I lead both the mechanical and software aspects of our robot design. I am in charge of the robot assembly as well and responsible for over 90% of the robot code, including fully autonomous routines and tuning. I love optimizing my designs and solving complex problems. I love software because I can take a complex robot and make it move and function. I particularly like automation, letting programming make my life and others' lives easier.
